Join us for this year’s virtual ¡Prospera! to celebrate the people who have helped make our work possible during this pandemic. From our frontline responders to supporters like you, this is our chance to unite and lift up the health of our communities!
We’ll be hosting a virtual event on Friday, August 28 to share stories of Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center’s response to the pandemic, and we’ll also have an online auction for you to support this work. The auction will be held from August 26 – August 31.

How do I participate in the virtual event?
Click on the "Live at 6PM on August 28" button at the top of this page before the event goes live on Friday, August 28, 2020. We recommend tuning in with 2 devices (computer/tablet/cell phone) or opening 2 tabs in your internet browser.

What will the program be like during ¡Prospera!?
This program will be a 45- to 60-minute livestream program that highlights how the Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center has responded to the pandemic. You’ll hear stories from frontline workers and learn how you can support Virginia Garcia through these challenging times.
You’ll also have the chance to participate in an online auction—bidding opens Wednesday, August 26, and closes Monday, August 31.
How can I purchase an auction item or donate to the Virginia Garcia Memorial Foundation?
To donate prior to the event, click the "Donate" button above or use your cell phone to text the word PROSPERA to the number 44321. To participate in the online auction, click the RSVP button above to get reminders when our online auction opens on August 26 at noon (PDT)—so you can register and get your bids in early!
To participate in the online auction, you’ll first need to register as a bidder.
How do I register to bid in the online auction?
Here are the steps to get registered to bid:
- Go to https://prospera2020.ggo.bid
- Click the “Start Bidding” button in upper right-hand corner of screen.
- Click the green “Create Account” button.
- Enter your email address.
- Wait for verification email (check your junk folder if you don’t receive it).
- Follow verification link and complete form. You will be required to provide your mobile number.
- Verify payment method, billing address, email and mobile number are correct. Click on grey boxes to update information.
- Click on the “Start Bidding!” link to enter the auction.
Have you participated in an online auction before? If so, you may have used this platform and already have an account. If so, follow steps 1 and 2 above, but for step 3, simply sign in instead of creating a new account.
