How much does it cost to attend this event? This event is free! However, guests can choose to financially support Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center by participating in our online auction by bidding on the amazing auction packages we have, or making a gift online before, during, or after the livestream event.
Do I need a ticket to attend this event? Yes! Just like an in-person event, we are asking all guests to RSVP so you can stay informed with event information. RSVP by selecting a Virtual Ticket.
How does the online auction work? The entire auction is online this year. The online auction will open at 12 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021, and will close on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 9:00 p.m. When the auction begins, you will be able to view each auction package and bid as often and as much as you'd like. If you don't want to bid on items but still want to support Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center, you will also be able to make donations before and during the event through the online auction website.
What will the program be like during the virtual event? The livestream program will be a celebration of our community and it will be an opportunity for you to support Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center during this critical time. We will celebrate our sponsors, hear from featuring speakers and share a powerful message of our impact. Auctioneer Misty Marquam will present some great auction packages for you to bid on and a special appeal you can donate to during and after the livestream.

How do I participate in the virtual event? When you RSVP we know that you will join us for the virtual event. We’ll invite you to register as a bidder and keep you informed on exciting event details.
How do I watch the livestream event? The week of the event, we will post the link to the livestream here. We recommend you tune in with 2 devices (computer/tablet and mobile phone) or open 2 tabs on your computer. This will allow you to watch the livestream and bid and give in the mobile bidding platform during the event.
How can I purchase an auction item or donate to Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center?
- Register for online bidding, a link will be made available two weeks prior to the event.
- Participate in the online auction Friday, September 24, 2021 at 12 p.m. to Friday, October 1, 2021 at 9:00 p.m. and bid on incredible packages.
- Join us for the livestream event on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. to give a donation during the livestream broadcast.

If I win an online auction package, how do I pick-up that package? You will be notified by email if you win an auction package in the online auction. Packages can be picked up at Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center. Shipment can be arranged for any winning bidders located outside of the greater Portland metro area with exception of packages containing alcohol. The winning bidder is responsible for shipping costs of physical items.
