General Information
When is the event?
Our event is Friday, September 29, 2023. We will welcome guests starting at 5:30 pm, with the dinner and program beginning at 7:00 pm.
Do I need a ticket to attend this event?
Yes, you will need to purchase a ticket online here. You can choose an individual ticket or become a table host.
Is there a health check and COVID guidelines for this event?
We support safe event planning. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and masks will not be required but are encouraged if
1) you are recovering from any illness or
2) prefer to use outside of active dining. If you are sick or have any symptoms of COVID-19, please help us keep everyone safe by staying home.
Exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public setting where people are present; we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed during your attendance of our event. By attending this event, you acknowledge and agree that you assume the inherent COVID-19 risks associated with your attendance, and accept the liability risk associated with such.
What will the program include?
The evening will begin with appetizers, complimentary wine and beer, and a super-cool photo opportunity, followed by a delicious plated meal. Our inspirational program includes stories of impact and information about Virginia Garcia, and of course plenty of opportunities to support our work through the purchase of raffle tickets, auction items, or direct donations.
What should I wear? Festive attire encouraged!
Can I stay the night at the Sentinel ?

Auction Questions
How does the online auction work?
The online auction will open at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 22, 2023, and will close on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 9:00 p.m. When the auction begins, you will be able to view each auction package and bid as often and as much as you would like.
If you do not want to bid on items but still want to support Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center, you will also be able to make donations before and during the event through the online auction website.
How can I bid on an auction item?

The online auction will be available from 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 22, 2023, until Friday, September 29, 2023, at 9:00 p.m.
If I win an online auction package, how do I pick up that package?
You will be notified by email if you win an auction package in the online auction. Packages will be available for pick up at Virginia Garcia’s Administrative Offices in Hillsboro on Thursday, October 5, from 2-5pm. Shipment can be arranged for winning bidders with the exception of packages containing alcohol. The winning bidder is responsible for shipping costs of physical items. Can I donate an item for the auction?
If you would like to donate an item or experience for the auction, please contact Bailey Thomas at bthomas@vgmhc.org or 503.352.8607 to share more details about your gift. Our goal is to create a diverse auction that will help us engage many individuals.
